Great for pellet stove!!
We bought this unit to supply enough power to safely shut down the pellet stove during a power outage and stop any smoke intrusion into the home. Very simple to use. 1. Just plug it into ac power, turn it on, and plug the pellet stove into the unit, and start the pellet stove. 2. Next test the unit with pellet stove running. 3. Unplug the unit from the wall, at that time you will hear a small beep which indicates a power outage. The pellet stove will continue to run on the batteries * NOTE - You have to manually shut down the pellet stove or it will continue to run depleting the batteries 4. Then turn the thermostat down to 50 degrees to manually shut down the stove. 5. Approximately 20 minutes later the pellet stove will be completely shut down 6. Then turn off the Tripp lite box to stop it from beeping indicating the power outage. 7. When the power is restored the Tripp Lite will recharge the batteries.
