It extends our small dining room table at the normal height for visiting adults and at counter height alongside my ironing board makes a great work surface for sewing and pressing large projects. I use the table for camping... love the different levels. use it for cooking, then we lower to use for a coffee table. Pushing the legs in by your self is alittle difficult because the legs have press in button,s need 3 hands to do, 2 to hold the buttons in and one to push the legs.
