I did not order for wide calf after measuring the area and the boot still has room for a thick sock or tights. I haven't worn them yet for an extended period of time but even standing still in them and walking around my apartment, the heel gives such a sleek look without being a total pain on my toes. I love the fit and how comfortable they are and plan to wear them often!
