This step stool is sturdy and stable, easy to fold for storage and can double as a chair if needed. It's a workhorse… I had one for years, it disappeared on a recent job site, so this one replaces it. It's light but very sturdy. I love how it stands on it's own when it's folded. It's a little too cumbersome for my 3-yr-old to use it herself, but my 6-yr-old loves it and can open it and put it away himself. I like that it's taller than a standard stool, and I can use it to reach the tops of my cabinets.
