TigerKing 2.5 Cu ft Fireproof Safe Box with Digital Keypad Lock, Steel Security Box for Home Office Money Documents

Fireproof document safe My grandparents house caught fire and burned years ago. My grandfather was injured and they lost everything. Witnessing the devastating loss of sentimental and other valuables was so disheartening. After that I told my mom that we have to get some fireproof safes and store important documents in so if such a thing ever happened to any of us, we'd still have our important documents and some sentimental valuables. We've gotten a few safes over the years since but mine did not have an organized space for documents. I'd just have to fold them up and put them anywhere they'd fit. With this Tigerking safe I can easily store documents in an organized way. It's Lightweight, has a handle to carry it, easy to lock, very good for storing things you don't want to get burned if a fire occurred. Stores important documents like passports, birth certificates, cards, password books in a convenient and organized way. I really love it for the file folder section, my old safes did not have room for that, this one has plenty of room for documents and it's orderly. I probably wouldn't store most valuables in here as it's easy to pick up and walk away with but you totally could if you don't have another separate safe for that purpose. I would order this again if I needed another one. Very easy to use and organized. In case of a fire I feel better prepared knowing that my important stuff is in one safe place and won't burn. Also, something I learned from that devastating fire is that every so often you should make a recording of your house inside especially and take note of any valuables, improvements and such. Then upload that recording on a flash drive (or several flash drives) and store them somewhere safe like this fireproof safe. That would have been so helpful to have for my grandparents when insurance claim time came around. So much stress and trying to remember everything you owned for the past 40 yrs was hard. So that's a precaution tip, record your house at least once a year and store it somewhere safe like this fireproof safe.

This fireproof safe is larger then I anticipated. I will easily be able to store and protect much more then i originally thought, possibly some of the kids school work as well.
