Key item features

  • WEATHER-RESISTANT WOODEN DESIGN: The solid wooden structure creates a stable outdoor cat shelter, while the asphalt roof helps shed rain. Predrilled components and included hardware help simplify assembly for seasonal oryear-round use in an appropriate sheltered area.
  • FULL 6-SIDED INSULATED LINER: Insulation covers the walls, roof and floor to surround cats with a more complete thermal barrier. The fitted liner helps retain natural body warmth and reduce exposure to cold interior surfaces during winter.
  • 3-LAYER THERMAL PROTECTION: Solid wood, plywood and a 0.78-inch sponge liner work together to limit heat loss and block cold drafts. This layered structure creates a cozier resting environment during cold and below-freezing outdoor conditions.
  • VERSATILE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SHELTER: The sloped asphalt roof helps prevent rainwater from pooling, the raised floor limits contact with cold or damp ground, and the PVC entrance curtain helps reduce direct exposure to wind and moisture.
  • COMFORT FOR FERAL AND COMMUNITY CATS: Place this insulated winter cat house on a covered porch, patio, in a garage or barn to provide outdoor, stray and community cats with a dedicated place to rest and retreat from colder weather.

Insulated cat house

Delivery was terrible but once it finally arrived, it is great. Very sturdy and fairly easy to put together (although the hinges were difficult as stated by some other reviewers). It's just as described and what we needed for an outdoor kitty that has adopted us.
