It's a really good size,I would DEFINITELY get the insulation that comes with it.It's a couple extra bucks, but it's totally worth it in the winter.The insulation is also removable for the summertime The top lifts up for easy access to change blankets or add food inside it.I LOVE it an my stray kitty does also!!!WORTH THE MONEY!
