Very sturdy bed, 75lb dog loves it. Still firm after a month of daily use by our couch potato of a senior dog. We particularly appreciate the side bolsters, as our girl likes to bury her nibblets and treats. These have a small gap of space due to the way they are upholstered, so it makes a pocket for her to hide her goodies in. It keeps the dog food bits in her bed, and keeps us from finding dog food bits all over the floor.

I have a big senior dog and as she ages her bones need more comfort. I bought this for her and she loved it. The only problem I have had is that the other three small dogs have taken over it and she is so sweet she rather not disturb them from their slumber. I ended up buying two more for my whole pack. I love how you can wash the cover. Other orthopedic beds you can't and we have to toss them after a while. I'm 5'0 and curled up in the bed (xl) with my small chihuahua when he had an upset tummy. So the bed is a nice size.
