I bought this runner specifically for my kitchen because I wanted something long enough to cover the main walking and standing area without being overly bulky. It looked like good quality in the photos, and I liked the simple brown color because it should work easily with different cabinets, floors, and kitchen finishes without standing out too much. One of the biggest reasons I chose this particular runner was that it's machine washable, which is important for a kitchen rug where spills, crumbs, and everyday messes are pretty much unavoidable. I also like the low-profile design because I didn't want anything too thick underfoot or something that would constantly get in the way. The non-slip backing is another useful feature for a high-traffic area. Overall, it seems like a practical, easy-to-maintain runner for a space that gets used every day. I'm curious to see how well it holds up after regular use and trips through the washing machine. It does cost a little more than some similar runner rugs.

This rug is a lot more durable than I expected, which I'm very happy about. I planned to use a non slip mat under it just because I use those with all of my rugs but it didn't need one. It has a non slip backing already built into it. I'm very sensitive to smells so I didn't know if I would need to air it outside for a bit but there is no smell whatsoever! The pattern is perfect for hiding dirt which is important to me because I have a dog. I put it by my patio door since I use that door a lot and my dog always goes in and out so the dirt accumulates rather quickly. I am very happy with it. I ordered the 2'X5' size for reference.
