Pure flour and works well every time.

I always sift my flour and have never seen any insects or anything wrong with it. I recommend everyone always sift their flour through a fine sieve. That way you'll be able to see everything.I always get great, soft, fluffy pancakes from this flour and everything else turns out well too.

The best

After years of making fresh biscuits with varied results, I tried using this flour and holy cow. They've never risen so high. I don't even use a fancy recipe anymore. I don't use a recipe at all, I just pour some of this in a bowl, add some salt, equate shortening and cut it in with a pastry cutter until it's little bits and then add some cartoned buttermilk and mix it together to make a dough. Best biscuits ever. Could other self rising flour do the same? Maybe, but I am cheap, so I used this one and get large, fluffy biscuits.

The GV brand is just as good and somewhat better. It saves you money and takes the guess work out of what brand to buy.
