This cot is exactly as pictured. It has a detachable cushion that goes on the top of the cut giving it a little more comfortable experience. The size is good for an average sized person. Larger folks might want to get the next size up cot. This one feels sturdy enough for children and average sized adults. It unfolds and sets up in under ten minutes and folds into a small enough size to make it easy to fit into a closet. It will last a long time if stored well.
