I was expecting a small cramped bag. What I got was a nice roomy pet carrier, large enough for even my largest cat! I had purchased a carrier from a different retailer that was advertised as being for medium sized cats. This bag is over twice the size! It has plenty of room for any size house cat to be more than comfortable in. It is very roomy. It is large enough for small to medium size dogs. The construction is as good as my other carriers. I have never had any issues with cats clawing and ripping this type of carrier. They have certainly tried several times. I don't know what kind of material it is, but it is extremely tear resistant! That was my biggest fear before I had experience with these cloth carriers. I have several cage and plastic carriers, but these are much more comfortable and accessible for transporting your furry friends around. I love these! This is my everyday carry bag for my cats. The cage and plastic types are fine for TNR or temporary isolation, but these cloth ones are what you want for errands or vet visits. If I am going into town, I can place this in the seat beside me and we can easily see and interact with each other. A plastic cage has very limited visibility and doesn't conform to the seat like these do. These are more comfortable to carry also and fit in shopping carts easier.
