I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this item. It is the perfect size for my medium-sized dog and the drawers are smooth and sturdy. The only thing that I would have liked to see sturdier would be the lock. It seems fine so far, but I am concerned about it holding up. It does have holes in the latch for a lock, with would add some additional stability.

Best purchase I've made this year. Extra countertop space. Cabinets and drawers for extra storage. Made of press board and metal. * It takes two or more people to put it together.* The bars are too far apart to hold a smaller cat, but it keeps my big kitty in. The cage fits a large litter box, a queen size pillow, and a big kitty. Keep in mind that litter will get kicked out of two sides if you don't have a high sided litterbox. Two gates for easy access when I need to clean the litterbox. My cat absolutely LOVES this cage. I leave the gate open and he comes and goes when he wants to. The latches can be flicked opened if you have a super smart kitty, so I use a little lock and keep it unlocked at night or when we're not home🔓. That being said: if your cat is small, super active, high energy, uses a short litterbox, and doesn't like being in a crate... this is not the cage for you. But large lazy cats that love the security of being in a box, this is the one.
