There were only bigger sizes left in stock when I saw these here. As I've always wanted a pair of skorts, and a reviewer before me said they run a bit small, I figured I'd order. I'm glad I did. For the price, it is a pretty well-made piece of clothing. It also looks ALMOST like what is pictured, except that the fabric has a slight sheen and appears to be more of a Lycra blend than cotton. Although it looks smaller - and a bit shorter - than expected, the fabric seems to have quite a bit of of a tight stretch, which would make it suitable, comfortable, and wearable for a range sizes and body types. Ergo, I am marking it as "true to size." Mine, although sized bigger than what I normally wear, fits really well and FEELS good, which at my age is now important. :). I think, however, that it would also fit someone smaller and bigger than I am. Lastly. the thing I like most about it besides how well made it is (I am super particular about stitching on clothes), is that you could absolutely dress it up or down. Not that it would get you through a gala, but anything short of one could be pulled off. Paired with a nice set of heels and pearls? Oooh, yeah. Out gardening? Also, perfect. Would I recommend this item? Yes.
