This pair of shakers are impressive. Its size fits into your hand comfortable. Each shaker comes with is own charging cord but there is no power unit that is needed to charge each unit. Each unit hold a large amount of spice. Both units require raw spice. Ie. pepper corn and course salt grains. I haven't tried regular salt but I feel that it will just fall out or the opening. Happy so far.
