KAIWEETS Smart Multimeter Rechargeable Electrical Tester with Auto Ranging Digital Voltmeter Measures Voltage Current Resistance Continuity Capacitance Temperature Frequency NCV 6000 Counts TRMS

this digital multimeter is very nice. The large screen offers a lot of information. The auto engaging ability of it is also pretty neat. I tried it on home AC and automobile DC sources and it auto tracked just fine. I like that on the home side it showed my line voltage and the frequency as well. The little flashlight on the back of the meter is nice but it's very dim compared to a cell phone flashlight. The meter itself has no prop or hook to help you hold it while you're using it. that is somewhat of a big negative for me. I always need to prop a meter up or hang it from a piece of conduit in order to really be able to use it. it's easy enough to make accessories for this. probe set that comes with it is fairly nice. I like that the tips are protected and can be used fully exposed or just with the sharp tip exposed. there is no protector cap for the sharp bits though and they are quite sharp. meter does not store well with the cables attached. they have to be disconnected in order to fit in the case. because of the small case and small size, the meter wires are also somewhat short. they are standard meter probes and can be replaced or extended. so that's not much of a problem. I do like that the wire is somewhat flexible. The probe tips will fit in alligator clips designed for standard probes. The main attraction of this digital voltmeter is the display. I do wish it had a voltage proximity meter or light like some of the other meters in this family. it is lacking that. I definitely recommend this meter for home use. it is very versatile and super easy to use. The buile quality is excellent. this is perfect for a homeowner or hobbyist. for someone in the trade, I would recommend a different version of the meters that are available. something a little more rugged that has a stand or hook available to make it easy to use.

This is one handy tool to have. There are so many features and uses for this multimeter and I probably won't use a couple of them, but I would rather have them than not have them if something electrical is broken and needs to be tested. I love that it came with its very own carrying case. It is about the size of a thick cell phone and is not too heavy. The charge lasts a while and it charges back up pretty quickly. Buy it!
