Well, this is going to be a short review because I am definitely not a fabric expert. The description says this is a medium weight denim, but I would lean towards heavy when comparing the weight and thickness to the denim used in even my thickest pair of popular jeans. After a wash cycle in cold water and a low heat dry, the fabric came out almost wrinkle free and has a nice soft and pliable feel. However, the weave is somewhat coarse. IMHO, for pants I don't think it would be very good. Perhaps for an heavy denim shirt, light jacket with some insulated padding sewn in, a skirt, or even some curtains. I won't be using it to make any clothing. I used it as a cover for two small end table things that need refinishing very badly. The fabric looks good and has just the right weight for this purpose. It hangs very nicely off the edges of these tables. BTW, I ordered "10 oz Medium Weight Medium Wash Denim" as is shown in my purchase history and definitely received the dark wash. I won't remove a star from the review of this material, but one will be removed from the seller. Also, don't use my photos as a reference. My cheap phone has horrible color accuracy. Especially when it comes to blue/cyan. DO I RECOMMEND?: You Betcha! Now get right on out there and getcha some, Goolisan!
