Coghlan's Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker – 4-Cup (32 oz), Campfire & Stovetop Safe, Portable & Durable – For Camping, Travel, or Home

The Coghlans French Press Coffee Maker takes up much less space when you are packing for a camp trip, if you compare it side by side with a regular camp percolator. For car/tent camping that matters a lot. We own a small camping trailer now, and storage space still matters. I needed a coffee maker that we can use on the stove if we don't have electricity in the national park campgrounds. This coffee pot can also be used over a campfire, or just as a kettle to boil water for ramen noodles. It is the right size for two people. Some camping cookware sets offer a little tea kettle, but that is about enough for one person. This French press is twice as big and will serve 2 people easily. It is stainless steel and will last for many years. Coghlans is a well known camping supply company that sells products in most retail stores. I've used them for years, and I trust their quality. The mesh and stopper on the French press is very high quality. Most French presses use a little coarser grind for coffee, but I've had good luck with Maxwell House coffee pods, or my regular brew.
