I like these socks- I like them a lot, But, I wear an honest size 10-10.5 US men's, and my feet are pretty thin- not wide. Also, I like my socks fitting tight around my feet. For that reason, I usually wear socks that are sized down. These socks are very soft, have good elastics, and… they are too big for me. They bunched up just a bit over several hours- fine for work (welding, and metal work, even in the summer) but I wouldn't like to hike in them. I'd probably live to hike in them if they fit tight, but… I gave them to my Dad, and he is very happy with them. He hikes daily and uses these socks, and he prefers them to his high cost Marino wool socks. His feet are sized 10.5 US men, kind of wide and flat and he prefers socks that fit well, but that are not tight enough to restrict his blood flow. These are perfect for him.

It's the middle of summer and heat index of 100 degrees and I'm loving these wool hiking socks! tried them on before putting them away for cold weather and I can't get over how soft and comfortable they are. They fit just right with tab bit of support in the arch and just enough elastic to keep them in place without being too tight or loose. Not itchy or scratchy and the toe area fits perfectly inside shoes and don't bunch up.
