My family wanted to have snowcones all summer, and I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, so I bought this machine. It has become a favorite. There is a way to make chunky ice to snow-like ice. When my child is sick, I can give her this ice to get her rehydrated, as well! The machine comes with 5 cups to freeze water in to make it easier! You can also use regular ice, but it won't be as fine as snow. Highly recommend!

A shaving ice different settings!

It had every piece packaged safely,A Plugged it in and so quiet compared to my blender. I love that pieces are easy to install and remove and can be put in dishwasher. It has a little brush for getting ice out if needed ,came with little dishes and lids to have handy for kids in freezer for after school snack or after the beach. It has a consistent button so i can concentrate on adding ice for a birthday party or if just little family as each wants one to make their own special cooling drink. Adults too! yummy
