Kitchen Mama One Touch Electric Can Opener: Auto-Stop, Ergonomic, Battery Operated (Purple)

I have never owned an electric or battery operated can opener. I am old school and like the manual openers. Unfortunately as I get older my hands bother me and need something easier. I did not want the bulky one that you plug and take up counter space. Came across this one and thought I would give it a try. Takes 4 x AA batteries and it is small but tough. I even purposely broke off the tab on a can of baked beans just to see if it works. Love it, great kitchen must have.

I received this product about a month ago and I can't get over how efficient it is! Unlike traditional can openers that leave sharp, jagged metal behind, this device cuts directly along the side. You're left with completely smooth edges on both the can and lid, so there's zero risk of accidental cuts. Plus, the blade will never drop down into your ingredients (which was always one of my pet peeves). There are no messy cords cluttering up the counter. It fits neatly into a drawer for a minimalist, clutter-free kitchen. Plus, I love that it looks like an avocado, so cute!
