I would suggest you measure the bench you want to place the cushion and then order the appropriate size. My bench is a rather standard size and the cushion for the most part, fits fine other than it could have been an inch or two longer but not a deal breaker. It arrives in a small box with the compression of the foam cushion. It uncompresses immediately but the included info does relay waiting 72 hours to see full compression. I placing it within the included cover was easy. Fits well from corner to corner and back to back, snugly, and zips with no issues. The ties are plenty long in length. I did not tie it to my bench yet because it is raining out. There is ties at each back side corner, not any at front. I mention that because some people prefer ties at all four corners. The foam cushion is solid and feels durable. The inside of the material has a plastic type lining and that is nice to prevent water or snow from seeping through to the cushion. The outer material is water resistant. It was raining when I placed it on the bench for pictures, then I saw the water bead up, and I could simply brush it off with my hand. You can remove the cover and wash it in the washing machine, hang dry. I can tell you this bench cushion is much better quality than all that I have viewed in person, at various thrift stores. The color I chose is red. PS. Yes my bench is red and the bench back is yellow due to a flub up where I ordered it from. Know that cushions do not always need to match the bench and vice vera.

Sometimes the Florida sun can heat it up and it burns like the dickens when I sit down. It was delivered rather quickly. The cushion came in a very secure bag that when opened and air got in the cushion expanded quickly. The zipper and stitching looks to be pretty good and I believ it will last a while. I got it slipped into the cover easily. I even left it in the plastic, for added protection. My bad for not measuring to make sure it would fit the full length, but that's okay. As long as I am not burning my toosh when I sit to watch my fish, I'm fine. The cushion is very comfortable. I like that the cover is Water-Repellent UV Fade-Resistant. The Florida sun can be pretty brutal on seat cushions.
