The most quiet portable AC I've used so far.

I need a dual hoses portable air conditioner unit to help reducing temperature during heatwave and wildfire during summer time. Most of the time the temperature is quite cold, I don't really need any air conditioner at all. After a week of researching a few brands, I decided to choose this unit because I want a unit that has dual hoses, inverter compressor, quite, energy savings, and has big dehumidification capacity. This unit fits all my requirements. The installation is very easy. i was able to finish my installation within 15 minutes. This unit is the most quiet one compared to my other portable units. And it cool down the whole room in less than an hour. It's very efficient. The instructions is very clear and easy to follow. I don't need anything else but screwdriver.

Solidly built, Quiet, many features.

I have now been in using this Portable Whynter AC for one week. So far so good, it seems well built, much more quiet than our old single hose, non inverter portable AC. It has a lot of features that I still need to learn, but I love how the compressor scrolls down when desired settings are hit. The I sense feature is nice as the remote becomes the thermostat instead of the thermostat built into the unit. With the remote on your nightstand it will communicate to the units when to increase / decrease cooling based on where you are actually sleeping. Time will tell on the efficiency but seeing we run our bedroom AC 14 hours a day I suspect we will see a $20-30 monthly reduction in our electric bill vs our old unit during the Summer. I will be adding insulation to the exhaust hose which should help a tiny bit as well with room temperature.

great deal on by far the best AC I've ever purchased. features I love: - two separate hoses for intake and exhaust, so the air is fresh - continuous fan mode so the AC toggles in/off with temp detection but the fan keeps running, great for sleeping - can use a portable with complete black out curtain cover of windows, no light leak
