The intensity and offensiveness of its pungent chemical odor hit me the second I opened the plastic covering. By the time I was done looking it over, I had a headache and felt lightheaded. I had to roll it up and put it in the tub in my guest bathroom with the door closed and the vent fan on. The colors are extremely faded. For some reason, when you take a picture, the colors seem way more saturated than they actually are. It's also not soft like most area rugs and runners are these days. It has a nice thickness to it and is made well with finished edges and a nonslip backing. The size is quite generous for a runner. I am immensely disappointed in it, though. I had the perfect spot planned for it, but living in an apartment makes it beyond challenging to get it aired out first.

This rug is amazing. Out of the package, it was flexible and was not creased. The design image is beautifully subtle and not too bold. The non-slip backing keeps the rug sturdy on the floor, which is great for a high traffic area. Walking on the low pile still feels like a cloud and it's very comfortable. I appreciate that it is washable. This rug elevated my indoor walkway area. Very nice.
