This is a high quality, well-worth-your-money fitness machine. It came mostly assembled, just had to attach the rails, the front support bar, slide the seat on and attach the console basically. It took me about 20 minutes. I think the unboxing and unwrapping the parts and breaking down the cardboard took longer than actually assembling the machine. There are 32 resistance levels, and I got to level 14 and that was plenty of resistance for me to get some good muscle work going. 8-9 was giving a decent workout that would've left me feeling it the next day if I even stayed at that level for 10-15 minutes. I was wondering initially if there would be enough resistance for my husband to get a good workout on it and I the answer is a definite yes! This is tailorable to all fitness levels. The seat glides quietly and smoothly on the rails and the pull bar recoils just as smooth. For a home gym, you won't get much better quality than this. There are wheels on the front and back so you can easily maneuver it around your space if/when needed. The middle can also be lifted up so the back part of the rails come together with the front ones for more compact storage if you don't plan to leave it in place all the time. You'll be happy with this! Quality parts and easy to follow instructions and diagrams. Everything is clearly lined out and labeled.
