Equate Maximum Strength Severe Congestion & Cough Liquid will help you get relief from your cold symptoms. This multi-symptom relief formula temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with common cold or inhaled irritants, the intensity of coughing, the impulse to cough to help you get to sleep, and nasal decongestion due to a cold. It will help loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive. This medicine combines 20 milligrams of Dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant, 400 milligrams of Guaifenesin, an expectorant, and 10 milligrams of Phenylephrine HCl, a nasal decongestant.
