got the packaged mattress in place then had to unroll and unroll and unroll ..... to get a long sheet of plastic out of the rolled up layers then we got the mattress in place again and used the included cutter to open the vacuum sealed packaging it hissed and voila a mattress appeared its a little softer than i thought it would be but it felt soft in a cushiony way not in a hard to roll over kind of way. there was no odor as some people have suggested the fabric cover is soft a little stretchy like a heavy duty tshirt and very breathable its a good thing that we already knew how to unpack a mattress safely as the instructions were in microscopic print had to use my phone to enlarge them enough to read them !!!!! even with my reading glasses!!!! the instruction card also has the information that says there is a 10 year warranty however there is no company contact information or instructions no website no phone number no address no email address!!!!! so dont count on any warranty but it is a great price for a mattress and if i had to replace it every 2 years it would still be cheaper than one from the retail stores and i would have the bonus of a fresh mattress every couple of years

This mattress is firm, but not too firm. It provides good support for back sleepers and side sleepers. The mattress is sturdy and does have some weight to it. When opening the mattress it easily unrolled and quickly plumped up to its full size. I am very pleased with the mattress and it's great for a child.
