This was a good price and looked very sturdy, Had to put a few things i had to put on , takes about 20 minutes it took me, Really nice for out in the hot Texas sun tanning under a mist of cold water, i did have to order a nice water proof cushon on my P membership the other big membership, anyway this is a very good chase lounge and sturdy as most were not, love it,

HDPE is probably the best outdoor material—wears well in the sun without warping or melting and doesn't rust and ruin cement. This chair does have a metal tube component as the adjustable part of the back so it remains to be seen if it will rust after being out in the elements. Everything else, including wheels and cup holder are HDPE. It was fairly simple to put together with an electric screwdriver the wheels and handles make it super easy to move around on our pool deck too! If this is your first black HDPE purchase, be aware that it can get very warm in the sun/heat. I imagine we will eventually be putting cushions on it for that reason.
