Horrible tasting. It's just watered down corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup (both!) with a slight vinegar hint of flavor. I suppose there must be some sort of market for this if Kikkoman regularly produces it, but it's nothing like the traditional MiRin rice cooking wine (such as one imported by Rhee Brothers) that I bought on here last year and suddenly it no longer seems to exist on Walmart.com It's made from rice and wheat and salt and has a 15% alcohol content, typical of traditional MiRin.

Shipping Sucks

This package was packed very poorly. Being a bottle, it should have been sent in a box; however it was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside an envelope. And needless to say, it was broken and all the contents had leaked into the envelope. Not very happy after waiting over two weeks.

Product arrived completely smashed on my front step. Glass Bottle was not protected at all and was only shipped in a basic shipping envelope. I do not recommend purchasing from this seller. Amazon does a much better job protecting their items than this seller does.
