Itʼs hard to see how these sandals could fit anyone. The band across the top is so very large. I typically wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 for an average foot so I ordered these and the seven size. The bottom of the shoe matches my foot perfectly but thereʼs nothing to hold it on. The band that is supposed to hold the shoe on your foot is so large that my feet slide all the way through with half my foot hanging over the front edge of each shoe because it is way, way too loose to hold the shoes in place. The sole %26 platform are made of hard foam rubber. Not just the bottom part of the sole, but the entire platform of the shoe is a weird plasticy foam-like rubber. The product describtion describes this sandal as an Espadrille, which to me means the platform is made of the jute-like woven fiber typical of Espadrilleʼs and in the listing picture that is how they appear. The shoe platform is some kind of foam rubber, similar to the flip-flops you wear around the pool or in the shower, but harder and less rubbery. The strap across the top of the sandal is bright %26 pretty on a black background. That is what attracted me to buying them in the first place, plus i need a sandal like what I thought I was purchasing. They are nothing like I expected and I missed the short return window. I wish I knew of some way to shorten the strap so at least then I could wear them. I would never buy these sandals again.
