I was pleasantly surprised when I received these shoes. The material is soft, smooth, and stretchy. I bought these for my son, who is a little particular with his shoes. He has a hard time finding ones that are not too tight or binding on the arching part of the top of his foot. He enjoys wearing these shoes when he's in the water or around it. The bottoms of these shoes are flexible and durable, with traction. They run between 2 sizes, so I went with the larger size to be sure. They are a little big for that reason, but he likes them that way, and they stay on his feet with no problems. He finds them to be very comfortable, and he can be very picky.
