Key item features

  • DualBalance Magnetic Braking System: The DualBalance Magnetic Braking System is engineered with evenly balanced magnetic engagement to stabilize the spool throughout the cast. This intelligent design delivers smoother, more controlled casting while effectively reducing backlashes, allowing anglers to confidently cast lighter or aerodynamic lures over longer distances.
  • High-Speed 8.0:1 Hybrid Gear System: Featuring an 8.0:1 high-speed gear ratio, this Spartacus II Plus Baitcasting Reel provides rapid line pickup and efficient power transfer. The 80 HRB aerospace T6 aluminum main gear is 10% harder and 66.7% lighter than brass gear, while the brass pinion gear ensures reliable meshing and long-term durability. Together with the aerospace aluminum main gear shaft, this hybrid drivetrain supports smooth, responsive operation under heavy loads.
  • Ultra-Lightweight Nylitech Frame with Short Shaft Spool: Constructed with a Nylitech frame and side cover, this baitcasting reel delivers outstanding strength while keeping weight to a minimum. The compact 39mm palm-perfect body and ultra-light 6 oz design improve balance and reduce hand fatigue during long fishing sessions. The short shaft spool design minimizes deformation risk, enhances casting stability, and improves overall line flow for more accurate, controlled casts.
  • Powerful Carbon Drag and Smooth Bearings: The triple disc carbon fiber drag system provides up to 17.6 lbs of smooth, consistent drag power, giving anglers reliable control over hard-fighting fish. Coupled with 7+1 MaxiDur double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings, the baitcasting reel maintains exceptional smoothness, stability, and resistance to corrosion for consistent performance in both freshwater and saltwater conditions.
  • Precision Control and Ergonomic Components: The KastKing DTCC (Double Tapered Control Chute) line guide reduces line friction for cleaner casts and fewer backlashes. A dual-spring thumb bar is tested to withstand 100,000 rebound cycles without failure, ensuring dependable engagement. EVA handle knobs provide a comfortable, secure grip, while the carbon fiber star drag provides precise drag adjustment for fine-tuned control on the water.
