My daughter is 10 years old and wears a 10–12 and clothing. Because these are a tighter fit, we decided to size up. That was definitely the right choice as these were still very fitted in the waist. My daughter loved the elastic waistband and said that it did not dig in to her waist at all. The color is a beautiful plum purple, which will match many different color options. Definitely recommend these especially for the fantastic price.

I love the fabric of these legging. The flare at the end makes it really easy to get your socks up and wear shoes so they fall over them. It's a super cute look and they don't look super tight on you. They are a little bit long so order down if you're between sizes, I ordered a size 6X for my six-year-old and the length was perfect even though I usually order sizes 7 or 8 for her because she's on the taller side.
