Everything about this TV works well. I was able to compare it with another brand that I had bought and returned to the shop because it had so many problems - the shop expert recommended LG. The picture and sound are very good, with various options for preference. The system is responsive to the remote, which has a cursor type function (like on a computer) as well as the more familiar clicking modes of operation. I was initially a little disappointed that there is no paper manual (except a very cursory one for the initial setup). The manual is on the TV, and although it is clear and informative, finding quite what you want to know is not always easy - and there are some functions that are not explained and I just had to figure them out by exploring and trial and error. For example, how to record is not explained - nor how to pause and rewind live TV (using an external storage device). Another slight niggle is that the Alexa function does not appear to recognise BBC channels - if I ask to go to BBC One or Two etc, it will say these do not exist - although it does recognise some other channel names and will respond to commands such as 'go to channel 1'. Apart from these two points, I am very pleased with the TV.

My only complaint is that the magic remote does not truly act as a universal remote.There are several things that you cannot do with the cable box using the LG remote.
