Madden NYC Women’s Grommet Mini Skort, Sizes XXS-XXL

liked this skort enough that I purchased both colors! I bought the Midnight Black in my usual size medium and the Dark Indigo in a large just to compare the fit. The medium fits me really well and I would say it's true to size. I am 5'4 and weight 135 (curvier in hips and bottom area!) The large is definitely too big for me, although I'm hoping I can shrink it a little in the wash. It is a pretty short skort, but the built-in shorts underneath make all the difference and give me much more coverage and confidence than I would have wearing a regular mini skirt. My ONE complaint is the design of the liner. The built-in shorts actually extend up across almost the entire front of the skort, except for the narrow center section directly underneath the zipper. Of all places, I wish they had continued the liner across that little area! As a mom with a C-section “mom tummy,” that is exactly where I could use the extra smoothing and compression. It seems like such a small design change that would make an already great skort even better. Other than that, I LOVE these. They're extremely comfortable and versatile, with real functional front pockets and belt loops, which I really appreciate as a mom on the go. The embellishments are also so cute in person! I especially love the mixture of gold and silver-toned studs, rhinestones and grommets because I can wear either gold or silver jewelry and accessories with them. Cute, comfortable, practical and easy to dress up or down. For the clearance price especially, these were an amazing find, and I'm very happy I grabbed both colors!

Quality denim, perfect design, very comfortable. Bought 6 pairs —3 blue and 3 black because as I lose more weight I want to have these in my wardrobe. The skort part is a different fabric so you stay cool and not in 2 layers of denim.
