NICETOWN Black 100% Blackout Curtains, 2‑Layer Thermal Insulated Window Panels, 52" W x 63" L, 2‑Panel Set

These are true blackout curtains and thermal. We can tell a huge difference in the temperature of the room since hanging these curtains.

I have previously bought blackout curtains that in no way could be considered blackout. So much light would still come through and I could see shadows from outside. I am in Texas, and this is a window that receives direct afternoon sun, so I began to wonder if I could get true blackout without paying hundreds. I had not heard of this brand and figured it would be an easy return if they again weren't blackout. Shockingly they ARE 100% blackout on a sunny afternoon receiving direct sunlight on a 95 degree day. I can't say for certain regarding how true the "thermal insulated" claim is, but considering their weight and I can only imagine they will assist in keeping some of the heat out. As for sound insulation, no idea as I live in the country and we rarely have traffic. If you are looking for 100% blackout at a reasonable price, def buy these!
