shipping was quick. 2 boxes came separately completely intact with no holes or dents. i bought this one after looking for years for something that was advertised for teens.My son has a small room and really needs the space! The box was so heavy I had to get a neighbor to bring it in the house. That's good thing. means it's heavy duty and strong! it's a Christmas gift so it's not assembled yet but I can't wait!
