got two of these pinafores for my daughter (the blue denim and leopard) to wear over onesies. she is crawling, pulling up, and soon to be walking - I feel she can move pretty easily in this dress. the length goes just past her knees, and I like a longer length on her. I also like that these pinafores are great for all seasons depending on what they wear under or over it (long sleeve onesie, short sleeve onesie, leggings, sweaters, cardigans, etc.)
