There is two tables to assemble. The box they come in, looks small but there is in fact, two. I have the second one to assemble tonight but it is in fact, exactly like the one in the image. You don't need extra tools. You get several tools, little screw driver and a couple of hexagon tools (big one and little one). Everything is double. I always lay out everything neatly, look through the directions, make sure I have everything it states is included, get a good idea of how it all comes together. The first one is always the longest but it goes smoothly and rather quickly. I want to add that I believe you can place the plug connectors on either side of the table, right side or left side. You may want to think about where you intend to place these before attaching the plugs attachment. The feet screw in and since they do screw in, you can level the table. It looks nice and it is a good width and size for most bed sides. Also be nice in an office. The drawers are durable but remember the bottom drawer can accommodate a bit of weight but the upper drawers should be used for light weight items. The open shelf is roomy enough for a laptop, books, magazines, printer paper or anything you want to place there. Sturdy item since it is all metal base. Worthy products.

I ordered this set of two nightstands to go on either side of a futon sofa bed in my guest room that I use for a home office too. They look amazing. The LED lights make them really practical and I don't need lamps for them now. The fabric drawers slide open and closed easily and can hold anything lighter in weight. The assembly direction booklet was well organized and understandable. All the pieces were safely packaged and arrived undamaged. I appreciate how lightweight it is so I can move it without any assistance. They are a valuable storage solution for a fair price. I would recommend it.
