Coats and Clark thread is the only thread my grandma would use to make her handmade quilts. Its the only thread my mother use in her sewing machine because she could depend on it as a seamstress. It's the only thread i use to hand sew or machine sew. I've tried others, trying to save money, but I regretted it. It's the best thread to use for a good price.
