Instead, what I got feels like silk or alpalca. I know it's not, but it feels very soft. It came folded in a medium sized box, but when I put it down, there was no problem with creasing from being folded, I was pleasantly surprised all around. It's laying flat, so far, no turned up corners, the edges are all stiched, no loose strings or raw edges. Overall, for the price, I'm pleasantly surprised and would have no problem recommending it
