So, it's a very nice rug. Light weight and soft. Personally I got it to solve two problems. First, my EXTREMELY energetic Husky breed dog shoots out my back door every time I let her out! So the rug there goes flying as she tears out the door! This long rug solved that! It has a great grip on the tile! It stays where you put it! Second thing was...again my dog. She tracks in dirty paw prints especially when it rains. It rained last night! the rug is 8ft long so her paws are dry by the time she gets into the rest of the house! My only complaint is the "vintage" look. I like brighter colors. But overall a great runner rug!

We got this for the hallway. Our blue rug looks nice and the colors are soft, not gaudy. My bare feet like the softness of the pile. I wouldn't use this as a doormat. It isn't thick enough to take rough treatment. I'm glad it is washable so I won't worry if we have a spill or stain. I expect it to last 5 years or more.
