Maxi-Cosi Cassia Swing, Classic Truffle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great baby swing made with a beautiful aesthetic, easy to assemble, and more portable than most. Between our two kids, we’ve tried about 5 different bouncer swings and this one is definitely the best. We had another more expensive one, but our 5 month old would barely let us strap her in it, and it was so bulky that it had to stay in one place in our living room. I love the Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing because it’s much more lightweight yet still has a solid feel to it. It arrived in a very thin box which makes it great for storage if you plan to use it for multiple kids. The swing took me about 10 minutes to assemble and was very easy to do so. We’ve mostly kept it between our kitchen/dining areas for when we’re cooking, eating, and cleaning to keep the baby near, though it can be easily transported to another room. While she is not the biggest fan of being strapped in anything, like her car seat or carrier, she definitely will stay in this swing long enough to load the dishwasher or eat dinner without complaint. Because it turns around in every direction, we can face her towards us without having to move the entire swing. It really has been so helpful for us to keep her close so she can be included but also so we can have two hands every now and then. The aesthetic of the swing is really lovely — it fits our home’s modern style very well and the fabrics/materials are all elevated. It looks like a nice baby item and not cheap at all. I love that the fabric is machine washable and that the swing can be powered by either batteries or the included power adapter. We didn’t really notice a huge difference between the swing speeds and never really tried the automatic swing detection, though that is an option. The music is nicer than a lot of baby swings/toys. It doesn’t sound tinny at all and they include some nice versions of classical songs that we loved. The Maxi Cosi Cassia Swing was a game changer for my daughter. Prior to testing this swing she would not stay in another. A huge benefit was the fact that she could either be lying down flat or inclined at a safe angle. I have to say though the style of the swing fit the design of my home. The plastic wood finish gave it a sleek design and the softness of the materials and straps made it all the more comfortable for my daughter. I really enjoyed the fact that you could also have it 360 degrees instead of just a front facing while having to turn the whole swing around;this was a very neat feature. Navigating the functions of the swing was very straightforward too! My daughter enjoyed the spread on the 2nd to lowest setting with the natural sounds because it allowed her to focus on her surroundings while also hearing calming music, this soothed her and allowed her to get comfortable enough to nap. Overall this swing was good to the point my daughter enjoys being in it more than my arms! I loved the versatility of the features and the flexibility of how to position the swing. Definitely recommending to my mom friends!
