I'm a heavy guy with wide 10 1/2 or size 44 flat feet. In Florida this style is what I wear most of the year. I have come to learn of the better comfort with dual layer soles - soft foot fitting inside foam and harder heavier traction bottom. This is not a very slip resistant bottom pattern but it means less sand tracked indoors. The inner liner has raised edges to cradle the foot better and it helps to prevent the foot from slipping to the side or the toes slipping off the front when wet. The straps are breathable with a convincing simulated leather trim. I will definitely order this exact same item again when ready, it is $5 less than comparable thongs from most sources while offering superior support. I like the brown color too.
