This bookcase took about 2.5 hours to assemble with one adult and one preteen helping. There were quite a few pieces, but everything fit together well and the instructions were easy to follow. The assembly was more time consuming than difficult, and I didn't mind the extra time because the finished product feels sturdy and well made. The drawers roll smoothly, and I like how much storage it offers for both books and toys. It looks great in my daughter's room and has already become one of her favorite spots. My only complaint is that her room has baseboards, which prevents us from using the included wall anchors as intended. We'll come up with another solution, but I would have liked to see an option included for rooms with baseboards. Other than that, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Even though it's listed as a bookshelf , I use it as a organizer just for my random stuff. It has plenty of space to put different sized items and keep them organized. It's a great shelf to have for the bedroom or the living room.
