True to size, very cute, has some stretch a positive for active wear, perfect length.

These jeans are OK. They are not real thick, nor do they look like they will hold up over time. They are a cheaper pair of jeans as opposed to the price. I was disappointed in regard to the distressing in the front of the pant. It shows a circle of fading on the front of the thighs instead of gradual distressed throughout the leg (see pic). It also said that these pants are stretchy. They are not. They may have a very tiny stretch, but not enough to allow them to move when you move. I have gotten spoiled with the jeans of today that have the thick stretchy material that stretches over your body with every move you make. Then again, it said in the description that these are Y2K Vintage jeans and back then they didn't have the amazing stretch of today's jean fabrics. On the positive note, the fit on me is perfect, just like the picture of the model in the pictures, except I don't have a rear. I wear a size small and the chart said a small has a waist of 27 1/2" and the hips are 36 1/2". My waist is 29"; my hips are 35"; and my meaty thighs are 20". All my measurements are spot on except for the baggy rear that goes with my non-existent butt. Hopefully that will help in choosing your size. The jeans are definitely mid-high waist and the bottom of the legs are definitely the bell bottom style, but are not too obnoxious to look ridiculous. As for length, on my 5'3" body, the bottom on the jeans just hits the floor. I will definitely wear these jeans, but will not buy another pair because of the quality and no stretch.
