Everything was good instructions was well written very simple and good parts list. But step 1 should also should have read to remove protective plastic shipping ring in base of unit. Outside of that little thing assembly was very easy and less then 15 minutes. Very sturdy and easy to use.

There are no sharp corners or pinching points around the swivel mechanism. I feel safe having my kids use them (with supervision regarding the spinning, of course!).
