Slight fading to fabric after several wears

My husband loves these. He's been using them all summer. They're true to size they wash up well, but it does look like the color is fading a bit. I'm not sure if that's due to the chlorine in the pool in the sun or the quality of the actual fabric, but the actual shorts themselves are holding up well it's just the color. It looks quite faded after several. Use uses in a chlorine pool.
