lots of pieces

Overall at least a half day project, assuming you want some breaks and want to re-read the instructions. There are a lot of pieces but they are all marked...it's just a matter of having a lot of room to separate and organize them. I do wish they put the part number in the same place on each piece. It's still a little wobbly side-to-side but once we get it attached to the wall it will be fine.

Great storage

I was missing part D: called customer service. It was a weird call. But I went to my local hardware store and they had a part that worked as a replacement. Cabinet is awesome for a coffee bar in the kitchen

Good overall, but has manufacturing issues

Overall this item is good, which is why I've given it as high of a rating as I have. Well packaged, pieces labeled well, and instructions that are generally clear and easy to follow. The finished piece feels sturdy and while it does have a cheap-ish look to it, the style with the white cabinets and black knobs elevate it enough, and at this price point you can replace it in a couple years if you're not feeling it. However, this lost major points for me when I got halfway through the build, only to find one of the pieces (part 13) had not been manufactured correctly. There were no pre-drilled holes where there were supposed to be on one of the sides. I ended up drilling the holes myself and I'm no Bob Villa, so it looks kind of bad. Luckily part 13 is hidden behind one of the doors, so it's not the worst case, but I think about someone else who doesn't have the tools to drill it out like I did. What would they have done? Take it all back apart and repack it? Is this a problem with just mine, or were they all mass-produced like this? I would recommend QC'ing some random boxes of this item to see how widespread the issue is. Definitely made me want to go running back into the arms of Ikea. Thumbs up on the item itself, but big thumbs down for the defect.
