True to size, it's a snug fit but the stretch makes it feel like a pair of sweatpant waistband, so it's comfy. On a 5'5 frame it's about mid thigh, so it's perfect, longer than shorts but yet a skirt that you don't have to worry about since the shorts are on the inside.

Great Summer Staple Piece

I like the fabric, it is mostly cotton so it has a little weight to it and it can pass for an outfit and not just look like workout clothes. The shorts underneath are soft and thinner than the skirt so it feels light and soft. I am 5'1 and weigh between 118 and 122 i got a small and it fits nicely, i'm sure a medium would have been fine also because it has a good elastic waistband. If you are in between sizes i would suggest sizing up if you want more comfort rather than a tighter fit.
